1、 Make EPS helmet lining

The reason for choosing EPS is that it is cheap, portable and easy to use. Miraculously, the foam material that can be used to make lunch boxes is a good head protection material. In fact, one of the differences between ordinary electric vehicle helmets and advanced electric vehicle helmets is the quality of polyethylene propylene.

After the molding of the electric vehicle helmet liner mold, usually many holes and channels will be designed at the same time for heat dissipation, drainage, pressure relief, etc. In general, each mold is only suitable for one type and size of helmet. It should be noted that not all electric vehicle helmet liners are made of the same polyethylene propylene material. According to the need to adapt to the impact strength of different head parts, the polyethylene propylene materials at the side and center of the helmet will be different.

2、 Make polycarbonate helmet shell

For the production of electric vehicle helmet shells, the production process of composite helmets is mostly confidential, and each has its own zhuanli. In contrast, polycarbonate is heavier but harder than composite helmets. Composite helmets are often scrapped in accidents. Of course, this is not just poor protection.

In addition, in case of an accident, even the intact polycarbonate helmet should not be used again, because the helmet lining has completed the energy absorption work and no longer provides the same degree of protection.
