According to the staff of the Municipal Department Store Supervision Bureau, this is the first collective standard for helmets of electric vehicle occupants in China.
Electric vehicle passenger helmet refers to a kind of head protection device worn by electric vehicle passengers whose speed is not more than 25km/h. The Collective Specification for Electric Vehicle Passenger Helmets stipulates that the helmet is composed of shell, buffer layer, wearing device, etc. It is made of tough and used new ABS materials, and the helmet mass (including accessories) is not more than 800g.
The Safety Technical Specification for Electric Vehicles (new specification) was officially implemented on April 15, and the helmet for passengers of electric vehicles has become a popular product in shopping malls. Yueqing is the main producer of electric vehicle passenger helmets. At present, the output of Yueqing helmets accounts for more than 40% of similar products in China. There is no relevant specification for electric vehicle passenger helmets. Some small and medium-sized enterprises and individual enterprises take the opportunity to enter the market, and their product quality is mixed. At the same time, in the vacuum period of regulation, because there is no identification standard for product quality, some production enterprises use inferior raw materials to reduce production costs and conduct vicious underpricing competition in order to occupy the market. In addition, the lack of punishment measures in relevant laws and regulations and the limited means of quality supervision have led to the failure to effectively curb the chaos of electric vehicle passenger helmets. This time, under the promotion and guidance of Yueqing Market Supervision Bureau, Yueqing Helmet Industry Association adjusted on the basis of the Specification of Zhejiang Yueqing Motorcycle Protective Helmet Enterprise Alliance, and re formulated the Collective Specification for Electric Vehicle Passenger Helmets, which is a nationwide initiative. This collective specification makes clear rules for various safety and quality indicators of electric vehicle passenger helmets, fills the gap in industry norms, can effectively regulate and improve the overall environment of the helmet industry in Yueqing, and also provides reference norms for regulatory authorities in practical supervision.
In the next step, Yueqing Mall Supervision Bureau will further promote the implementation of collective norms, actively carry out publicity work, improve the influence of collective norms in the industry, and ensure the healthy development of electric vehicle passenger helmet stores.
It is believed that the collective norms for electric vehicle passenger helmets formulated by Yueqing City will have a significant impact on the safety production and sales of Chinese electric vehicle helmet manufacturers. It is expected that in the future, the technical specifications of electric vehicle helmet manufacturers will be gradually launched throughout the country, which can effectively protect the life safety of consumers.
