Noise reduction: as the name implies, it is to keep quiet. If you want to achieve the effect of noise reduction and mute, you can close all three air ducts, or only open the rear air duct. Some better helmets are very quiet inside the helmet after all the air ducts are closed.

Ventilation: If you want good ventilation inside the helmet, you need to open the front and rear air ducts and close the top air duct. However, in this case, there will be a lot of noise inside the helmet.
